Helen Bernice Hamilton

Helen Bernice Hamilton, 91, of West Chester, OH, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Chesterwood Village.

She was born in Waynesburg, Kentucky on August 16, 1930; daughter of the late Edward & Zula Padgett Mitchell. She was a homemaker, and loved to cook for her family and was a member of the Creek Road Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Paulette White; three sons, Dale Allen & (Blanche) Hamilton, Gregory Paul Hamilton, and Jeffrey Lynn & (Sharilyn) Hamilton, all of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters, Edith Cooper of Cincinnati, Ohio; Barbara Mullins of Spartanburg, SC, and a brother, Edward & (Deborah) Mitchell of Cincinnati, Ohio; eleven grandchildren, David, Paul, Josh, Matthew, Jacob, Andrew, Luke, Chad, Jennifer, Christina, and Shannon; twelve great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carlos Paul Hamilton, who passed away on August 12, 2012; two sisters, Ruby Mitchell, Selma Mitchell; three brothers, Delbert, Amos and Kenneth Mitchell.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Eldridge officiating.

Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after 11:00 AM Saturday, until time for services.
