Helen A. Baker, 72, of Science Hill, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born on October 7, 1947 in Weymouth, Massachusetts; daughter of the late Edward A. & Alice E. (Smith) Taber. She worked as a registered nurse for over 50 years, including for Lifeline Healthcare in her later years. She was a member of Eubank Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene Baker; a son, Marc A. & (Nichole) Baker of Science Hill; a brother, Kenneth W. Taber of Plymouth, Massachusetts; a sister, Gloria L. Smith of Travelers Rest, South Carolina; and four grandchildren, Austin L., Sydnee A., Cameron S., & Lauren N. Baker.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, August 1, 2020 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Hughes officiating.
Visitation will be after 2:00 PM Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
