Harold Lee Carter
August 27, 1929 — August 6, 2022
Harold Lee Carter, 92, of Somerset, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the Louisville Baptist East Hospital.
He was born August 27, 1929 in Singletontown, Kentucky; son of the late William McKinley & Della Ethel (Griffin) Carter. He was a United States Navy Veteran. He was a member of East Somerset Baptist Church
He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Routin) Carter and her children, Linda Edwards, Greg Dalton and Eddie Dalton; two sons, Roger Carter of Bardstown and Randy Carter of Louisville; a daughter, Judy Carter of Louisville; six grandchildren, Schrea, Rachelle, Shayla, Sydney, Cheryl, and Christopher; and eight great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Homer and Garriest Carter.
A funeral service will be held 12:00 PM Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Darvie Fenison officiating.
Burial will be in Singletontown Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 9:30 AM Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
