Guy Lee Jasper

Guy Lee Jasper, 79, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Friday, November 10, 2017.He was born in Mangum, Kentucky on January 22, 1938, son of the late Willie and Zella Mae Vaught Jasper. He was a farmer and a member of Carter Ridge Baptist Church. He loved coon hunting and his dogs.He is survived by two brothers, Carroll & (Agnes) Jasper of Nancy and Danny & (Retha) Jasper of Somerset, three sisters, Reva & (Lilburn) Byrd of Science Hill, Loueva & (Bobby) Clark and Bonnie & (Larry) Wesley, both of Bethelridge, sister-in-law, Juanita Jasper of Radcliff, KY, several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his wife, Artie Dick Jasper, his parents, two brothers, Glen Jasper and Gary Jasper and two sisters, Barbara Wells and Lorene Jasper. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Lester Randolph and Bro. Cecil Bowling officiating.Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery.Visitation will be after 11 AM Sunday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.The family requests donations be made to the Shady Grove Cemetery Fund or the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan.Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
