Grace Sybil Pratt

Grace Sybil Pratt, 88, of Somerset, passed away Monday, September 28, 2020 at her residence.

She was born January 3, 1932 in Mount Vernon, KY; daughter of the late Roscoe and Alice Pittman Smith. She was a retired employee of Dairy Queen.

She is survived by her children, Jacqueline "Jackie" Davenport of Shopville, KY; Louise Newsome of Somerset, KY; Clint Vance & (Brenda) of Science Hill, KY; Barbara Vance of Cincinnati, OH; Glee Mudd & (Rob) of Lexington, KY; Jo Ann Proffitt of Somerset; and James "Jimmy" Pratt; her grandchildren, Mary Rampley & (Tom) of Dayton, OH; Deborah Davenport of Louisville, KY; John & (Clarissa) Davenport of Shopville, KY; Phillip Newsome & Ronnie Newsome both of Red Boiling Springs, TN; Wade Rutherford of Lexington, KY; Kathy Tackett of Somerset, KY; Graycie Morgan of Somerset, KY; Coy Vance & Willie Vance both of Science Hill, KY; Caydie Morgan of Science Hill, KY; Richard, Joey & Stevie Symes of Cincinnati, OH; Lisa Mayfield & (Jason) of Science Hill, KY; Veronica & (Bobby) Shoopman of Somerset, KY; Brandi Daugherty of Somerset, KY; Cody Pratt and nineteen great-grandchildren, a host of friends and relatives, all whom she dearly loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Carl Pratt; a grandson, Jesse Lee Pratt, a granddaughter, Connie Vance; five sisters, Rebecca Singleton; infants, Fannie, Nellie, Lorene & Ella May Smith; five brothers, Earl, George, Emery "Lucher", Cromer and William "Bill" Smith.

A funeral service will be 12:00 PM Saturday, October 3, 2020 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Watson officiating.

Burial in the Rasberry Cemetery, Rockcastle County.

Visitation for Grace Sybil Pratt will be from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday, October 2, 2020 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
