Gloria Geraldine Edwards

Gloria Geraldine Rice Edwards, 73, of Eubank, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at her residence.

She was born in Danville, KY on September 16, 1945, daughter of the late Roy J. and Geneva Dyer Rice. She was an employee of the Britthaven Nursing Home.

She is survived by six sons, Ronnie & (Rose) Edwards of Eubank, Donnie & (Marie) Edwards of Somerset, Johnnie Edwards of Brodhead, Lonnie & (Debbie) Edwards, Roy & (Angie) Edwards, both of Somerset, Vertrees Brown of Eubank, three daughters, Connie Baldwin of Brodhead, Gloria Abbott of Columbia, KY, Donna & (Tim) Milburn of Mt. Vernon, three brothers, Donald & (Val) Rice of Ohio, Leroy & (Fredia) Rice and Charlie & (Vickie) Rice, both of Lexington, a sister, Darlene & (Billy) Davis of Science Hill, twenty eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Robert Edwards, her parents, a daughter, Debbie Bowling and a brother, Andy Rice.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Reynolds officiating.

Burial in Eubank Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11 AM Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
