Cressel Wiles

Cressel Wiles, 87, of Somerset, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at his residence.

He was born June 4, 1935 in Hogue, Kentucky; son of the late Everett Luther & Maude (Wesley) Wiles. He worked as an insurance representative for Commonwealth Insurance for 24 years.

He is survived by two sons, Michael & (Carrie) Wiles of Lexington and Mark & (Trish) Wiles of Science Hill; two sisters, Mildred & (Roy) Ard and Betty & (Bob) Hurd, both of Monroe, Ohio; six grandchildren, Jordan & (Logan) Warren, Mason Wiles, Clayton & (Jaira) Wiles, Bram Wiles, Luke Wiles, Evie Jo Wiles; and two great-grandchildren, Ella Jane Wiles and Jonah Brooks Warren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Sally Pearl Wiles; his second wife, Anna Christine Wiles; and three brothers, William Greene, Darrell, & Danny Wiles.

A funeral service will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, July 30, 2022 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Ball officiating.

Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 10:00 AM Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Shady Grove Cemetery Fund.
