Evelyn Coldiron

Evelyn Coldiron, 84, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2019.

She was born in Salyersville, Kentucky on July 23, 1934, daughter of the late Loyd and June Wheeldon Crace. She was a homemaker and faithful member of New Enterprise Baptist Church. She treasured her time with her family and church friends. She enjoyed anything that had to do with her home and garden.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 64 years, Edward Coldiron of Somerset; a daughter, Rebecca & (Pat) Gunn; three grandsons, Alex Gunn, Ian Gunn and Trevor Gunn; three great-grandchildren, Lucas Gunn, Olivia Gunn and Meredith Gunn all of Cincinnati, OH; two sisters, Virginia Jenkins and Edith Davenport and one brother, Mitchell Crace.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Billy Crace and Kelly Crace and two sisters, Hazel Borders and Lena Pelfrey.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Friday, February 8, 2019 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jim McKinney officiating.

Burial will be in Providence Cemetery in Crab Orchard, KY.

Visitation will be after 11 AM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
