Eugene Dewayne Abbott

Eugene Dewayne Abbott, 21, of Somerset, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022.

He was born February 17, 2001 in Somerset; son of Timothy Abbott and Ophe (Griffith) Abbott & (Shawn Cash). He worked as a laborer for Vaught Brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Joanna (Montaigne) Abbott; his parents and stepfather; grandparents, Martha & Eugene Griffith; a son, Oczavian Montaigne; two daughters, Oakllyn Abbott and Octavia Montaigne; six brothers, Jordan Coomer, Christian Smith, Timothy Abbott, Elijah Abbott, James Cash, and Preston Cash; four sisters, Justice Smith, Martha Abbott, Kelsey Abbott, and Malaya Abbott; aunt, Minnie Dunn; and uncle, Lewis Griffith.

A celebration of life will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Visitation will be after 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
