Elma Joyce (Watson) Wesley, 94 of Franklin, passed away on Sunday, March 29 th , 2026. She was a former longtime resident of Casey County, Kentucky.
She was born on March 18, 1932 in Carthage, Ohio to William A. and Luella (Wesley) Watson. She married Edmond Wesley. Elma is survived by sons, Houston Leroy Wesley, James Arlis Wesley and Edmond Shirl Wesley; thirteen grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are siblings, Jim Watson and Evert Watson. She was preceded in passing by her parents; husband, Edmond Wesley and sons, Gerald Glen Wesley and Carol Wayne Wesley and siblings, Bennie Watson, Delilah Lewallen, Deva Wilson, Marlene Abbott, Barthela Francis and Delbert Watson.
Elma was a Nurse's Aide and caregiver to her parents and also owned a Country Store in Kentucky. She was a member of Bethelridge United Methodist Church in Bethelridge, Kentucky. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and working puzzles.
A Celebration of Elma's life will be held on Thursday, April 2nd , 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Moton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin with visitation on Thursday, April 2 nd from 5:00 p.m. to time of service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, April 4th at 2:00 p.m. at Spaw Cemetery in Bethelridge, Kentucky. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in Science Hill, Kentucky is assisting the family in Kentucky.
