Ellen Dailey, 85, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017 at her residence.She was born in Brodhead, Kentucky on July 23, 1932, daughter of the late Frank Russell and Bessie McLamore Baker. She was retired from Palm Beach and a member of Woodstock Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts and loved cats and dogs. When her husband retired, they began doing wood working together.She is survived by two sons, Frankie & (Judy) Dailey of Florida and Johnny Dailey of Somerset, two daughters, Denise & (Richard) Brown of Berea, KY and Lisa & (Roger) Poynter of Somerset, one brother, Johnny Baker, three sisters, Frances Carter, Lena Melcher and JoAnn Baker, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and one soon to be and two step grandchldren.She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Jack D. Dailey, who passed away in 2009 and her parents.A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Monday, November 6, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Donavon Burton officiating.Burial will be in Piney Grove Cemetery.Visitation will be from 6 PM to 8 PM Sunday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.The family requests donations to the Pulaski County Alzheimer's Association or Hospice of Lake Cumberland. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
