Elizabeth Floyd
August 28, 1933 — April 4, 2025
Elizabeth "Liz" Floyd, 91, of Eubank, Kentucky passed away Friday, April 4, 2025 at her residence.
She was born in the Bent Community on August 28, 1933; daughter of the late Garnett & Bessie Lee (Mize) Cross. She was a member of Eubank Baptist Church. Throughout her life she enjoyed taking care of people; watching UK Basketball, and never met a stranger. She was always known to remember all of the details also.
She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey & (Wendy) Floyd and Rodney & (Ann) Floyd, all of Eubank, six grandchildren, Jon Floyd, Jamie Floyd, Jody Floyd, Josh & (Alecia) Floyd, Brandon Floyd and Jordan Miller; great-grandchildren, Whitney, Raelynn, Gracie, Cheyanne, Harley, and JD; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Virldon "Cuz" Floyd; and her parents.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after 11 AM Wednesday, April 9, 2025 until time for services.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
