Duella Robinson

Duella Keith Robinson, 72, of Science Hill, passed away Friday, December 29, 2023, at her residence. 

She was born in Wayne Co., Kentucky on March 15, 1951; daughter of the late Carmel and Ora Mae (Kidd) Keith. She held various roles throughout her life including owning her own business, but most importantly she cherished the role of mother and grandmother. She was a member of Kingbee Baptist Church. She loved cooking, gardening, studying the word of God, writing songs, and sewing. She was strong in her faith, and enjoyed praying for people. 

She is survived by her children, Rebecca Sue Latham  & (Mike), Jeffrey Dale Tackett  & (Cathy), Debra Renee Hall & (Alan), Michael Robinson, Jr. & (Tabitha); step-children, Melissa Shanks & (Steve), Dana Robinson, and Christy Robinson & (Bob); grandchildren, Ashley Haste, Johnathan Tackett, Chris Russell, Wesley Russell, Shelby Brown, Michael Scott Robinson, Amber McWilliams, Caitlin Baker, Isaiah Latham, Alexander Senter, Emma Hall, Autumn Robinson; siblings, Vontella Carrender, Connie Lanphere, Barbara Loy, Cathy Whitaker, Patty New, Trish Poynter, Timothy Keith, Lesa Singleon, and Sherry Tomlison. The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to a the caregivers who made it possible for Duella to spend her last days at home; and especially, Cathy Tackett. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Robinson, Sr.; a son, Danny Lee Tackett; her parents; a granddaughter, Chanissa Robinson; and a brother, Lowell Keith.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Thursday, January 4, 2024 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Eric Vaught officiating.

Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after 11 AM Thursday, January 4, 2024 until time for services.
