Dorothy Hardwick, 80, of Somerset, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at the Somerset Nursing & Rehab Facility.
She was born in Somerset on September 8, 1938; daughter of the late Homer & Lucy (Surber) Wesley. She was a member of the Somerset Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by one son, Rick & (Debbie) Hardwick of Somerset; two daughters, Sandy & (Howard) Jackson of Somerset and Lisa & (Condit) Peavler of Waynesburg; one brother, William Oris Wesley of Goshen, Ohio; one sister, Lois Head of Goshen, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Brian & (Laura), Kris & (Britney), Krystal & (Nick), Kenny, Matthew, Allen, Amanda, Charlie & (Alisa); five great-grandchildren, Kaden, Sadie, Alexa, Jaxon, & Nolan; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hillis K. Hardwick; two brothers, Harold Wesley & Foie Wesley; one sister, Edna Whitehead; and one grandchild, Nicholas.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Grant officiating.
Burial will be in Quinton Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Friday, August 9, 2019 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
