Donnie Ray Thurman, 61, of Eubank, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at his residence.
He was born on November 3, 1959 in Somerset; son of Bennie & Wilma Roberts Thurman of Eubank. He was a retired deputy jailer for the Pulaski County Detention Center; a member of the Cumberland Church of Christ and a dedicated member of the Science Hill Fire Department for 38 years.
He is survived by his parents; his wife of 43 years of marriage, Rhonda Wesley Thurman; a son, Jarred & (Lindsay) Thurman of Somerset; a daughter, Misty & (Jonathan) Welch of Somerset; a brother, Bennie Daniel "Bub" Thurman of Casey county; five grandchildren, Henley Thurman, Hunter Robinson, Haydon Robinson, Morgan Keith, Roselynd Keith.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Douglas Thurman.
A funeral services will be held 2 PM on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home, with Bro. Darrell Wallace and Bro. Kevin Bullock officiating.
Burial in the Science Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Monday, January 11, 2021 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
