Donna Kay Munday, 61, of Science Hill, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at her residence.

She was born on September 22, 1964 to Dwight Lynn Phillips and Sharon (Hazel) Workman in Buchhannon, West Virginia. Donna lived a life marked by faith, compassion, and selfless service to others. While residing in Austin, Texas, she proudly served as a volunteer firefighter, often dedicating her days to assisting at the fire department while others were at work. After moving to Maryland, she continued her servant's heart as a "Pink Lady," serving as a patient advocate and offering comfort and support to those in need.

Before welcoming her sixth child, Donna was a devoted preschool teacher. She lovingly set aside her career to focus on raising her family, embracing motherhood with unwavering love and dedication.

Above all, Donna's greatest strength was her steadfast faith in God. She was a woman of deep conviction who continually looked to the Lord for guidance, peace, and strength. She never allowed fear to overshadow her faith, believing with all her heart that God was always with her and would carry her through every season of life. Her unwavering trust in Him was an inspiration to all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Munday; her children, Joshua, Brandon, Sean, Justin, Trina, Mindy, and Isabelle; her mother, Sharon Workman; her grandchildren, Aaron, Elijah, Liam, Faith, Hailey, and Jasmine; her brother, Dusty; and her sisters, Sherrie, Sylvia, Laura, and Margaret.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dwight Phillips; and her sister, Debbie.
