Donna Baker

Donna Geneva Baker, 62, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023.

She was born in Boyle Co., Kentucky on May 23, 1960; daughter of Kenneth Boyd and the late Mary Helen (White) Boyd. She enjoyed planting flowers, doing crafts with her children, and going to yard sales. She had an eclectic love for music, and enjoyed dancing. She enjoyed reading the bible, and attending church services. She was always willing to help anyone. 

She is survived by her children, Stephanie & (Jason) Spencer, Brian Baker, and Brad & (Billie) Baker; her father, Kenneth Boyd; three siblings, Carl Boyd, Ronnie Boyd, and Jeff McClure; three grandchildren, Kayla & (Preston) Brainard, Kinley Spencer, and Austin Baker; and a great-grandchild soon to arrive, Isla Ruth Brainard.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Helen (White) Boyd; and a brother, Wayne Boyd.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Union Church of Christ Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Donna Baker Memorial Fund c/o Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends after 11 AM Tuesday, February 14, 2023 until time for services.
