Donald Bradley Collins
July 25, 1939 — January 20, 2022
Donald Bradley Collins, 82, of Somerset, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born July 25, 1939 in Science Hill; son of the late Virginia (Collins) Vaughn. He worked as an office operator for General Motors.
He is survived by a daughter, Donna & (Don) Estes of Eubank; three step-sons, Ricky & (Crystal) Wesley of Highland, Kentucky and Mike & Doug York, both of Eubank; two step-daughters, Earlene & (Mark) Wallace of Mobile, Alabama and Pam Payton of Science Hill; two sisters, Wanda & (Herb) Lucas of West Melton, Ohio and Jackie & (Tom) Clark of Cilcert, Arizona; three grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother; his step-father, Johnny Vaughn; his wife, Melinda (Wesley) Collins; a daughter, Faye Taylor; a sister, Pat & (Dr. Al Gerado) Larreategui; and a half-brother, Ronald Vaughn.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Carson Atwood officiating.
Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Post # 38.
Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
