Donald Adams

Donald Paul Adams, 71, of Somerset, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023 at his residence.

He was born December 11, 1951 in Bent, Kentucky; son of the late Floyd & Dora (Bryant) Adams. He was a farmer and a member of the McKinney Baptist Church. Donald loved fishing, racing, basketball, baseball, and coached baseball and T-ball in the past. He enjoyed gardening and had a green thumb. He was an animal lover as well. Donald enjoyed life to the fullest.

He is survived by his children, Donald Adam Adams and Nichole Kelly & (Eddie) Turner and by his cherished sweetheart of twenty three years, Pam Adams; his grandson, Nicholas Paul Adams & (Ryah Parkhurst); his siblings, Allene Bullock, Lucille Hargis, Betty Dicken, Bobby Adams, Ola & (Dennis) Hagstrom, and Margaret Abney; a sister-in-law, Sandy Adams; and a host of cherished nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, William Riley "Bill" & (Verla) Adams, and Coy Adams; brothers-in-law, Denton Bullock, Gene Hargis, James Dicken, and Raymond Abney. 

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 31, 2023 at McKinney Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. David Bullock officiating.

A visitation will be held from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home, at which time we will depart the funeral home and travel to McKinney Baptist Church Cemetery.
