Don Fields

Don Fields, 75, of Midway, Kentucky, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023.

He was born November 19, 1947 in Pikeville, Kentucky; son of the late John Fields, Jr. and Martha Tackett Fields. He was a graduate of the University of Pikeville and worked as an area sales representative for RJ Reynolds. Don was a member of the Old Regular  Baptist Church. He played basketball in high school and college and enjoyed gardening, working in flowers in the yard, visiting with family & friends, fishing, and camping.

He is survived by his wife, Angeletta Fields; his son, Joshua Don & (Evelyn Carrell) Fields of Midway, Kentucky; a daughter, Doniella Ann Fields of Ivel, Kentucky; sisters, Peggy Fields King and Brenda Fields King; grandchildren, Jeremy Varney, Alexander "Xan" Lowe, and Lukas Lowe; and great-grandchildren, Jayden Varney, Stella Varney, and Khloe Varney.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Doyle Fields and Randall Fields; and brothers-in-law, Carson King and Kenneth King.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Rev. Rulah Whitaker officiating.

Burial will be in the Friendship Old Regular Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 12:30 PM Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
