Dewey L. Todd

Dewey Lee Todd, 84, of Somerset, passed away Monday, December 25, 2023 at his residence.

He was born September 3, 1939 in Pulaski County; son of the late George Martin & Mary Lena (McKinney) Todd. He was a pastor since 1987, and enjoyed farming and woodworking. He was a member of Estesburg Church of Christ. Dewey and Wilda throughout the years opened their home and parented over 200 foster children. 

He is survived by his son, William Martin "Marty" & (Dina) Todd of Eubank, special children, Jimmy Ayers, John Cannada and Jeremiah Saylor; grandchildren, Jadena Todd, Christian Todd, and Haley Ping; a sister, Dorothy Ellen Bullock; a brother, Willard Vernon Todd & (Debbie); and a host of special nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilda Ping Todd who passed away on June 8, 2018; a brother, Bobby Joe Todd; Sister-in-law, Janice Todd; and a brother-in-law, Robert Bullock.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, December 30, 2023 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Eubank officiating.

Burial will be in Woodstock Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after 11 AM Saturday, December 30, 2023 until time for services.
