Dessel P. Cook
May 21, 1934 — March 26, 2019
Dessel P. Cook, 84, of Eubank, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at the Jean Waddle Care Center.
He was born on May 21, 1934 in Winona, TN; son of the late Everett Hurstle and Chloe Byrd Cook. He was a retired Truck Driver for Yellow Freight Co., and a Veteran of the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his son, Danny Cook of Eubank; a daughter, Paula Roe of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters, Chloria Cook Wilson and Ina Lee Collins both of Oneida, Tennessee; and two grandchildren, Ashley Cook and Jonathan Roe.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Judia J. Dick Cook; two brothers, James and Charles; and two sisters, Etta and Betty .
A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, April 1, 2019 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Chaplain Clarence Floyd officiating.
Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard.
Burial will be in King Bee Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 12:00 PM Monday until time for services.
