Delmer Baugh(Dale) 66, of Burnside, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 in the loving care of his lifelong cousin and best friend's home, Kenneth (Kenny) Branscum out of Lake, MI. He was accompanied by a wonderful team and staff from Residential Hospice out of Lapeer, MI.
Dale was born on July 19, 1959, in Science Hill, Kentucky. He was a precious soul who deeply cherished time with his family and friends. A hard worker all his life, Dale was known for his selflessness-often giving the very shirt off his back, even when no one noticed.
With a spirit both sweet and strong, Dale was as unique as he was unforgettable. To truly know him was to love him. He was much like a delicate flower, revealing his truest beauty in life's most radiant moments, and like a sassy queen, he met hard times with grace and determination.
In his younger years, Dale traveled widely, embracing the beauty the world had to offer. He especially loved visiting his family and making sure they stayed connected, even if he couldn't be there in person. In his later years, he found quiet joy in the company of his beloved dog and cat, and in the simple pleasures of pizza and Mexican food.
Dale also shared heartfelt conversations with his great-niece about the Lord, drawing strength from his faith and knowing his Maker. His life stands as a testament to love, generosity, and resilience.
Dale will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. We rejoice knowing he is now with his eternal family, and we will keep the candle of his memory burning brightly in our hearts forever.
In the famous Quote by Cher, whom Dale loved;
"If you really want something, you can figure out how to make it happen." "I've always taken risks and never worried about what the world might think of me." "All of us invent ourselves.
"Your true colors are beautiful like a rainbow" -Cyndi Lauper
