Deborah "Debbie" Brock

Deborah "Debbie" Brock, 67, of Somerset, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2023, at the University of Kentucky Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington.

She was born March 7, 1956 in Somerset; daughter of the late Arlie B. & Zola (Fields) Brown. Debbie was a member of the Eden Baptist Church. Raised in Eastern Kentucky, Debbie was a true mountain girl and always had a love for the people in that area. She had a great sense of humor, of which many stories could be told, and was never afraid to embarrass her loved ones. Debbie was also a great fan of Stephen King novels and instilled a love of reading in her children. Most of all Debbie was known for her great faith, and the love she had for the Lord and for her family.

She is survived by her fiance, Steven Cullen of Somerset; her children, Michelle & (Greg) Johnston, Kenny & (Angela) Brock, and Nathan & (Wendy) Brock, all of Somerset; siblings, Andy & (Helen) Brown of Somerset and George & (Peggy) Brown of Tennesee; grandchildren, Tamika Stogsdill, Eowyn Brock, Ripley Brock, and Madigan Brock; and great-grandchildren, Emma & Zachary Reynoso. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Brown; and infant sister, Leasha Brown.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, September 29, 2023, at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Parlor Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Friday, September 29, 2023, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
