Deborah Ann (Dick) Blevins, lovingly known as "Debbie," passed away peacefully on October 25, 2026, surrounded by her cherished family. Born on October 21, 1956, in Somerset, KY, Debbie lived a life filled with love, adventure, and an unwavering commitment to those she held dear. Raised by her beloved parents, Ralph and Laura Dick, Debbie was the embodiment of warmth and kindness.
She was predeceased by her parents, her brother Ralph Dick Jr., her sister Nancy Garlene Adams, and her dear Aunt Fran Sissy Koch. Her legacy of love is carried forward by her devoted husband, Tim Blevins, whom she married on May 29, 1974, in Jellico, TN. Together, they shared 52 years of marriage, raising two wonderful sons, TJ (wife Katie) and Scott (wife Kyleen), while journeying across the globe with the US Army.
Debbie was a proud graduate of Pulaski County High School, class of 1974. Her career was as diverse as her interests, spanning roles in bookkeeping, equipment distribution, and outdoor recreation for the US Army. She later found joy and fulfillment in dog grooming, a testament to her nurturing spirit. As an Army wife for 20 years, Debbie was the backbone of her family, bringing stability and warmth wherever they settled. Her love for travel led her to explore the world, but she always found joy in her roots, delving into genealogy to weave a rich tapestry of her family's history. Debbie's heart was expansive, extending beyond her immediate family to embrace every child in the neighborhood. She was a motherly figure, a disciplinarian when needed, and a constant source of support and laughter. Her great sense of humor and willingness to help others left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Tim, her sons TJ (Katie)and Scott (Kyleen), and her treasured grandchildren: Brianna, Noah, Xeriah, and Kiera. She is also survived by her sisters, Donna Roberts (Stanley) and Matrie Isaac (Tim), her nieces Tanya Brown and Donnita Petrey, and a host of other family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
In accordance with her wishes, a private ceremony will be held to honor Debbie's life.
Debbie's life was a testament to love, laughter, and the power of a generous spirit. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy will continue to inspire and guide those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
