David Odell Wesley

David Odell Wesley, 67, of Science Hill, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024, at his residence.

He was born September 20, 1956 in Ansel, Kentucky; son of Zora & Beulah May (Phelps) Wesley. He worked for Hinkle Construction and was a member of Jacksonville Baptist Church. He loved motorcycles, horses, and farm animals.

He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Fisher; his siblings, Gary Byrd, Sheila & (Kenneth) Garrison, Marvin & (Agnes) Wesley, and Peggy Wesley & (Spencer Loveless); his grandchildren, Chase, Jessica, Hunter, & Hannah; a host of nieces & nephews; and Joyce Coffey.

He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Roger Wesley; and a sister-in-law, Laverne Byrd.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, May 2, 2024, at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. James Floyd officiating.

Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 12:00 PM Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
