David Allen Mink

David Allen Mink, 58, of Science Hill, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Jean Waddle Care Center.

He was born in Somerset on April 17, 1961; son of Elizabeth (Girkey) Mink of Somerset and the late Donald Zada Mink. He was a former employee of Toyota Manufacturing and also had an air craft mechanic license.

He is survived by his mother; his wife; Becky Ann (Smith) Mink; two sons; David Allen Jr. & (Jennifer) Mink and Damien Ray & (Fiancè, Melody) Mink, both of Somerset; two daughters, Savannah Nicole Tharun and Melia Meece, both of Somerset; three brothers, Donald Wayne Mink, Tony & (Trulayne) Mink, and Paul Eugene Mink, all of Somerset; four sisters, Kimberly Bickers of Frankfort, Cheri & (Sam) Grigsby, Elizabeth Dawn & (Dave) Yaden, and Catherina Joy & (Robbie) Ping, all of Somerset; five grandchildren, Rider Mink, Bellamy Gregory, Tatum Mink, and Sidney & Riley Mink; and several nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; a son, Christopher Jarred Mink; and a sister, Jenny Gossett.

A Funeral Service will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Elam & Bro. Jack Carpenter officiating.

Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 12 Noon Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
