Danny K Phelps

Danny K. Phelps, age 69, passed away Monday, March 2, 2026 at his residence in Bethelridge, Kentucky.

He was born August 30, 1956 to the late Reece & Gladys (Coleman) Phelps in Casey County, Kentucky. Danny married the love of his life, Beverly Phelps, on January 8, 1986. He was a member of Valley Oak Baptist Church and was baptised alongside his wife on June 10, 2013. He was an Argyle boy and a man who never met a stranger who could strike up a conversation with anyone he met. He especially enjoyed talking and swapping stories. Trading was one of his favorite pastimes. He also had a deep love for animals, finding comfort and joy in their companionship.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Phelps. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A graveside service will be held Friday, March 6, 2026 at 11:30AM at Valley Oak Cemetery with Bro. Chuck Woodcock officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Danny Phelps Memorial Fund c/o Morris & Hislope Funeral Home or Valley Oak Cemetery.
