Danny Lanpheare, 73, of Eubank, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at his residence.
He was born June 6, 1950 in Stanford; son of the late Raymond & Armelda (Atwood) York. He worked as a telecommunications installer.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Sue (Keith) Lanpheare, to whom he was married on March 25, 1978; his siblings, David & (Joann) York, Darlisa & (Gary) Holder, Delana "DeeDee" & (Robert) Bullock, Billy Reed, and John & (Teresa) Lanpheare; his children, Tonya & (Kevin) Godbey, Stacy & (Natasha) Hendricks, Derrick & (Danielle) Lanpheare, and Danny Ray Lanpheare; and eight grandchildren, Caleb Godbey, Nolan Hendricks, Brody Hendricks, Isiah Murphy, Taylor Lanpheare, Allison Lanpheare, Katie Lanpheare, and Nathan Lanpheare.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, February 15, 2024, at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Eric Vaught officiating.
Burial will be in Buncombe Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 10:00 AM Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
