Danny Dale Carter

Danny Dale Carter, 68, of Eubank, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at his residence. He was born October 22, 1953 in Somerset; son of Barbara E. (Whitter) Carter and the late Harold Carter. He worked as a farmer, a school teacher for the Pulaski County School System, teaching at Eubank High School, Eubank Junior High, and Northern Middle School, and was a Migrant Advocate at the central office until retirement. He was a member of the Eubank Church of Christ. He is survived by his mother; his wife, Frances Ann (Combs) Carter; a brother-in-law, Clark & (Inez) Combs of Virginia; a sister-in-law, Nancy Gayheart of Hazard, Kentucky; several cousins, including special cousins, Jimmy Carter of Eubank and Larry Warren of Somerset; special friends, Darius West of Eubank and Jeff Craig of Eubank; and several aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his father; a brother, Gary Carter, who died in infancy; and a brother-in-law, Phil Combs. A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, August 20, 2022 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Dale Robins officiating. Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday, August 19, 2022 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Liberty Nature Center.
