Cody Blaine Dixon, 29, of Somerset, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019.

He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on March 5, 1990; son of Ron & (Jennifer) Dixon and the late Kristi Kay Caudill; he was a merchandiser for Coca Cola. Cody loved golfing, hunting, fishing, and basketball; but, most of all, he loved his daughter, wife and family.

Cody is survived by his wife, Kathleen Dixon; a daughter, Brooke Dixon; a step-brother, Justin Miracle of Danville; and a step-sister, Renee Miracle of Nicholasville; grandparents, Jim & Karen Whitaker, and Jean Dixon; aunts and uncles, Mark & Lisa Pilcher, Bob & Lori Mounce, Jeff & Mischele Wilson, Darrel & Nancy New, Scott & Jill Johnson, Curtis & Katie Dixon; a brother-in-law, Billie & (Danielle) Edwards; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bill & Vicki Edwards.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Kristi K Whitaker Caudill; grandparents, Donnie Dixon, and Walker & Bessie Poynter.

A funeral service will be held at 3 PM Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jeremy Johnson, Bro. Scott Hughes, and Pastor Steve Gates officiating.

Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery, Waynesburg.

Visitation for Mr. Cody Blaine Dixon will be after 11 AM Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
