Clyde Debord

December 18, 1931 — March 6, 2020

Clyde Everette Debord, 88, of Eubank, passed away Friday, March 6, 2020 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

He was born on December 18, 1931; son of the late Luthor and Susie Baker Debord.

Clyde loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren very much. He was a hard working man all of his life, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to others. He worked his entire life as a farmer, and throughout the years worked several others jobs including Henry Frame, and Cumberland Wood & Chair. He was a good husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He had a contagious smile, had a love for God, and enjoyed reading his bible. He was a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ.

He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Nellean Thompson Debord, whom he married on April 26, 1953; two daughters, Darlene Elizabeth Pence and Barbara Jean Debord both of Somerset; a brother, AF Debord of OH.; two sisters, Irene Lewis of Eubank, and Joy Godsey of OH.; two granddaughters, Angela & (Jody) Collins of Eubank; and Deanna & (Cody) Faught of Somerset; and three great-grandchildren, Andrew Collins, Bailey Collins, and Elena Faught.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, John Debord, Millard Debord, and William Debord; two sisters, Edith Godsey, and Shirley Vanhook Brown; and a son-in-law, Ray Pence.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Thad Eubank, and Bro. Tim Lewis officiating.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 10 AM Tuesday, March 10, 2020 until time for services.
