Claude Partin

Claude Partin, 78, of Somerset passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

He was born January 17, 1943 in Winfield, Tennessee; son of the late Floyd & Edith (Cain) Partin. He worked as an auto mechanic doing body work.

He is survived by; two daughters Debbie & (Wal) da Silva and Bonita & (Jeff) Stringer, both of Somerset; three brothers, Danny & (Linda) Partin and Bill & (Kathy) Partin, both of Cincinnati and Phillip Partin of South Dakota; two sisters, Gladys Gorman of Cincinnati and Rosemary Schank of Science Hill; three grandchildren, Wendy & (Ryan) Price, Gary & (Sasha) Gossett, and Ethan da Silva; and two great-grandchildren, Conner & Blakelynn Price; and several nieces & nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Barbara (Bays) Partin; five brothers, Glen, Stan, Roy, Ted, & Champ Partin; and two sisters, Geraldine Schubert and Cleo Gerbus.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Eggers, Gary Gossett, and Bro. Ron Shepherd officiating.

Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
