Clarence "Red" Warren, 78, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019.
He was born in Ansel, Kentucky on March 27, 1940, son of the late John Ashley and Biddie Susan Dick Warren. He was saved and loved the Lord. He was a member of Barnesburg Baptist Church. Red was the founder of Pulaski Gas and Heating Oil and Eastway Market. He owned and operated these successful business for over twenty years. Red loved to help people. He loved to mow, work in his garden and eat chocolate gravy.
He is survived by one son, John Howard Warren & (Betsy) of Barnesburg, one daughter, Jill Warren Hacker & (Doug) of Jackson, KY, one sister, Maureen "Margie" Dykes of Dahl, KY, seven grandchildren, Sarah Warren, Hannah Warren, Johnna Warren Riddle & (Chris), Autumn Weston, Catherine Bryant Leigh & (Jon), Hayden Bryant and Allison Bryant.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Lee Hale Warren, who died on October 6, 2009, his parents, two brothers, Amos Ira Warren and Vernie Warren, three sisters, Nellie Haste, Lola Denton and Beulah Easterly and five siblings who died in infancy, Ernie, Elsie, Louie, Eddie and Opal.
A graveside service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Science Hill Cemetery with Pastor Phillip Duncan and Pastor Jordan Burks officiating.
Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
