Christopher James VonLinger, 42, of Danville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026 at the Hazelwood Center in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on January 12, 1984 to James & Hershelean (Lamb) VonLinger in Danville, Kentucky.
Christopher's life journey was unique, and though much of his story remains known only to him and those who cared for him throughout the years, he touched the lives of many with his gentle spirit and loving heart. Despite the challenges he faced, Christopher found joy in simple moments and formed meaningful connections with those around him. One thing that was always certain was the deep love he held for his daddy, a bond he cherished throughout his life. Christopher will be remembered with kindness, compassion, and the love he shared with others.
He is survived by his father, James VonLinger; his siblings, Kevin Jones and Patricia Ann VonLinger; his aunts, Sue Nordin, Fonda Hamilton, Linda Maddox, Donna Wilson, Loretta Langford, and Geraldine Huffman; and his cousins, Brandon Wilson and Steven Huffman.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Hershelean VonLinger; his uncle, Rollie VonLinger; and his aunts, Flo Harmon, Freida Sluder, Judy VonLinger, Rose Coffman, and Nancy Mann.
A graveside service will be held at Bellevue Cemetery in Danville, Kentucky at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 2, 2026 with Bro. Brandon Wilson officiating.
