Chester Taylor

Chester Green Taylor, 95, of Eubank, Kentucky passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Rockcastle Health & Rehab.

He was born on March 11, 1924; son of the late Roy & Pearlie Reynolds Taylor. He was a farmer, worked for the railroad, and built pallets during his working life. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He was a member of Fairview Church of Christ.

He is survived by a son, Larry Dana Taylor & (Carolyn) of Lexington; three sisters, Irene Taylor of Woodstock, Della Woodson of Berea, and Martha Long of Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ardilla Taylor; his parents; two daughters, Donna Lynn New, and Brenda Taylor; four brothers, William Noel Taylor, Hershel Graydon Taylor, Junior Lee Taylor, and an infant brother, Harold Taylor; two grandchildren, Terra and Casey New.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Fairveiw Church of Christ with Bro. Curt Herrington officiating.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Monday, December 16, 2019 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home, and after 10 AM Tuesday, at Fairview Church of Christ until time for services.

Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
