Charles Edward Perkins
July 19, 1942 — May 10, 2019
Charles Edward Perkins, 76, of Eubank, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019 at the VA Hospital in Lexington.
He was born on July 19, 1942; son of the late John and Ethel Lawson Perkins. He was a retired Coal Miner. He was Veteran of the United States Navy, and a member of the Church of God.
He is survived by his two sons, Jeff Perkins and Robert Perkins; two brothers, Linville Perkins and Marvin Perkins; four sisters, Faye Jones, Freida Perkins, Debbie Perkins, and Gerstle Perkins; two grandsons, Joshua Perkins and Timothy Perkins; and one step-grandson, Jonathan Muncy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, David Perkins and Nathan Perkins; and two sisters, Grace Perkins and Wilma Perkins.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Thursday, May 16, 2019 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jonathan Muncy officiating.
Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard.
Burial will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 11 AM Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home until time for services.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Charles Edward Perkins.
