Charles Victor Hendricks

Charles Victor Hendricks of Science Hill passed away Friday, April 29, 2022 at his residence.

He was born November 21, 1938 in Hogue, Kentucky; son of the late Jim & Emma (Randolph) Hendricks. He worked as maintenance for the East Kentucky Power Cooperative Powerplant.

He is survived by two sons, Charles "Chuck" Hendricks of Eubank and Rod Hendricks of Science Hill; a daughter, Cassie & (Marc) Romer of Science Hill; a sister, Edna McKee of Hartwell, Ohio; six grandchildren, Corky, Rusty, & Carlie Hendricks, Adam & Nick Romer, and Mason Owens; a brother-in-law, Douglas Moore of Sardinia, Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Carolyn Mofield of Science Hill and Reca Moore of Science Hill; ten great-grandchildren, Taylor, Gavin, Elena, Matt, & Carson Hendricks, Will & Austin, Garmin, Zoey, Colton, & Blair Romer, and Micah & Sage Koch; and several nieces & nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 59 years, Helen Agnes (Moore) Hendricks; brothers, Hoover & (Sara Jane) and Clyde & (Mildred) Hendricks; sisters, Darlene & (Bud) Ervin, Doris & (Harvey) Ervin; half-brothers, Haynes & Jack Hendricks; and half-sisters, Mary Davidson, Martha Dick, Sarah Crussel, & Marie Pike.

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, May 2, 2022 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Woodcock officiating.

Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Monday, May 2, 2022 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
