Charles Ottis Griffis, 69, of Science Hill, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Charles was born on April 3, 1955 to the late Jim Blane and Emeline Sellers in Somerset, Kentucky. He was of the Baptist Faith. Charles enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. He loved to joke but was also a very caring man, and would help anyone in need.
He is survived by his wife, Melody Griffis; his son, Charles Griffis; his daughter, Becky (Travis) Hamm; his brother, Danny (Tammy) Griffis; grandchildren, Shane (Frankie) Hamm, Alexius Griffis, and Sharia (Harley) Owens; great-grandchildren, Tucker Campbell, Kealan Torres, Taytum Torres, and Wrenlee Hamm; nephew, Daniel (Courtney) Griffis; and great-niece, Kinslee Griffis.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private services will be held at a later date.
