Carolyn Sue Williams McGinnis, 79, of Monticello, KY, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at the Wayne County Hospital.
She was born in Vanwert, Ohio on September 12, 1940; daughter of the late Darold & Rosemary Winhover Williams. She was a homemaker. Sue devoted her life to be a loving mother and a devoted wife. In the years past, she had worked as a cook for the Lawrence School System in Lawrence, Michigan.
She is survived by her husband, James "Jim" McGinnis; a daughter, Rhonda Lynn Rande of Georgia; two grandchildren, Jordan and Cory Rande.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jimmy McGinnis; two brothers, Art and Ronnie Williams, and a sister, Nancy Louise Coons.
A memorial services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at the Mount Zion Baptist Church, Monticello, KY.
Burial will be in the Dishman Cemetery.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
