Carol Dean Dick

Carol Dean Dick, 79, of Science Hill, passed away, August 17, 2023, at the Cumberland Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility.

She was born December 2, 1943 in Lincoln, Kentucky; daughter of the late Homer & Inez (Durham) Mullins. Carol was a member of the Northside Baptist Church, where she was a faithful member of the Choir, and sang many specials over the years. Carol was an active member of the Science Hill Garden Club all of her life. She loved flowers and working in her garden and flower garden. Carol worked and retired from Palm Beach and following her retirement worked for Stitches for a number of years.

She is survived by a son, Mark Correll & (Penny Cooper); step-children, Sammy & (Marlana) Dick and Shelly & (Jeff) Souders; a sister, Janet Mullins Taylor; a sister-in-law, Mildred Mullins; and grandchildren, Andrew & (Devin) Correll and Jacob Correll.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Don Correll; her second husband, Junior "Jiggs" Dick; a son, Terry Correll; siblings, Shirrell Mullins, Robert Mullins, Jerry Mullins, Faustine Mullins Wilson, and Kathleen Mullins Floyd; and brothers-in-law, Talmadge Taylor, Ray Wilson, and Lynn Floyd.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, August 26, 2023, at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11:30 AM Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Science Hill Garden Club.
