Carl Warren

Carl V "Boss" Warren, 81, of Science Hill, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023 at his residence.

He was born in King Bee, Kentucky on August 18, 1942; son of the late Ira Clay and Sarah Catherine (Dick) Warren. He retired as a Warehouse Supervisor from Somerset Food Service. He was both a farmer and a carpenter. He was proud of both his children and grandchildren. He was a member of King Bee Nazarene Church. 

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, whom he married on January 1, 1962, Elsie (Hodge) Warren; his children, Carl Dwayne & (Melissa) Warren, Michael Timothy Warren, and Brian Steven & (Elizabeth) Warren; a brother, Frank B. Warren; grandchildren, Bridgett Coy, Carl Dustin Warren, Timothy Blake Warren, Christopher Scott Warren, Cody Dwayne Warren, Michael Graham Stonecipher, Kylie Brianna Warren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira Clay and Sarah Catherine (Dick) Warren; brothers, Roy Bradley Warren, Adam Warren, Milford Warren, Will Warren, Carlos Warren, and Everett Warren; sisters, Mary Wiles, Hazel Mofield, Wilma Hollars, Vinnie Adams, Helen Dick, and Vina Taylor.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Wiles officiating.

Burial will be in King Bee Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after 12 PM Tuesday, October 10, 2023 until time for services.
