Brenda Bishop Denney

Brenda Bishop Denney, 67, of Science Hill, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

She was born in Somerset, Kentucky on January 24, 1952; daughter of the late Gerald M. and Mary Losie Evans Bishop. She was a retired school teacher for the Pulaski Co. School System, and a member of Pulaski Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Josh & (Renea) Denney of Science Hill; a sister, Tracy & (Larry) Wheeldon of Somerset; three brothers, Jerry Bishop of Jamestown, TN., Mike Bishop and Jeff & (Kathy) Bishop both of Eubank; two grandchildren, Jacob Denney and Taylor Denney both of Science Hill; a special friend, Eddie Tomlin; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald M. and Mary Losie Evans Bishop; and a sister-in-law, Judy Bishop.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Friday, March 8, 2019 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Gambrel officiating.

Burial will be in Eden Cemetery.

Visitation for Brenda Bishop Denney will be after 11:00 AM Friday, March 8, 2019 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Pulaski Co. Humane Society.
