Brenda Crawford

Brenda Amelia Crawford, 86, of Eubank, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

She was born on May 23, 1939 to the late Estil and Catherine Hackney. She moved to Cincinnati, Ohio in 1956 and worked for North Side Bank and Trust. She returned to Eubank, Kentucky in 1966 and was a lifelong farmer alongside her late husband, raising dairy and beef cattle, tobacco, and various other crops. She was a member of Etna Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, Charles Helton Crawford, whom she was married to for 60 years.

She is survived by one daughter, Karen (Ken) Roy of Science Hill; one son, Doug (Linda) Crawford of Eubank; 4 grandchildren, Amanda (Jamie) Sears, Logan (Lexi) Crawford, Kailie (Aiden) Vanhooser, and Kyle Crawford; 2 great-grandchildren, Reed and Vince Crawford; one sister-in-law, Carolyn Hackney; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Hackney.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ferlin Price and Bro. Randy Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in the Etna Cemetery. Visitation will start at 11:00 AM until time for services.

Pallbearers will be Doug Crawford, Ken Roy, Logan Crawford, Kyle Crawford, Aiden Vanhooser, Jonas Hackney, and Jamie Sears.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Etna Cemetery Fund.
