Bobby Lorin Cromer

Bobby Lorin Cromer, age 67, of Mount Vernon, KY, went home to be with the Lord on May 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of family and the prayers of those who cherished him. Born on December 5, 1958, in Rockcastle County, he was the son of Keith Cromer and the late Victoria Mink Cromer.

Bobby found joy in life's simple and meaningful things: attending church, hunting and fishing with those he loved, and farming. He especially treasured time spent working on cars with his son, Dustin, and making memories with his grandchildren.

Though his absence on earth will be deeply felt by all who loved him, his family finds comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering and has found peace in the presence of the Lord.

Bobby is survived by his former wife, Teresa Cromer, the mother of his daughter, Natasha (Paul) Evans and his son, Dustin Cromer (Hope); along with his daughter, Megan (Michael) Hansel; and his beloved grandchildren, Dixie, Caleb, and Flint Evans. He is also survived by his father, Keith Cromer; his sisters, Linda Dykes, Gwenda (Ralph) Woodall, Vickie (James) Dykes, Winona (Jay) Dykes, Evelyn (Lloyd) McFadden, and Crystal (Mike) McDaniel; along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who mourn his passing and will carry his memory forward.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Victoria Mink Cromer; his brother-in-law, Roger Dykes; his niece, Amy Woodall; and his nephew, Willie Dykes.

The family will forever remember Bobby as a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle.

A funeral service will be held at 7 PM Friday, May 29, 2026 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Jonathan Logan officiating.

The family will receive friends after 4 PM Friday, May 29, 2026 until time for services.

Burial will be in Dykes Family Cemetery in Rockcastle, Co. at 11 AM Saturday, May 30, 2026.
