Betty Louise Littrell

August 18, 1956 — January 2, 2021

Betty Louise Molden Littrell, of Eubank, passed away at her residence in the late hours of January 2, 2021.

Born in Nancy, KY on August 18, 1956, Betty was the daughter of the late Howard and Mary Jane Redman Molden. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her parents, two sisters (Edna Carolyn and Elsie Faye Molden), and her loving husband, Joseph Ray Littrell.

She is survived by her children, Joey Littrell and Jimmy (and Rebecca) Littrell, all of Eubank. She also leaves behind six brothers, (Wayne Molden, Russell (and Judy) Molden, William Ray, John Roger, and Rodney Molden), a sister, Stella Radford (and Kevin Vankirk), her sister-in-law Midge (and Randall) Long, many special nieces and nephews, and her cousin, Jimmy Lee (and Marybelle) Molden, whom she regarded as a brother.

Betty leaves behind a legacy her children will never forget. She was a true Proverbs 31 woman: she always put others before herself, provided and cared for her family, helped her neighbors, taught her children to live well and treat others with unyielding kindness, and bore pain and suffering with no complaint. She served in the United States Army as a computer technician at Fort Hunter Liggett, California, and then as a homemaker until her children were both in school. She loved her family and would fight anyone or anything in order to protect them. She cared for her cats, dogs, and grand-dogs, and possessed a wonderful sense of humor. He smile could light the darkest of rooms.

Betty was of the Baptist faith, but above that, she trusted fully in Jesus Christ, her Savior. Her passing leaves a gaping emptiness in the hearts of those she loved, but she is finally at peace and at home with her Heavenly Father and loved ones who preceded her in death. Words could never adequately express how much she was loved and will be missed.
