Betty J. Campbell, 70, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Jean Waddle Care Center.

She was born in Monticello, Kentucky on December 27, 1947; daughter of the late Thomas and Christine Crouch Sexton. She was a retired salesperson for Little Debbie. Betty was a member of Duke Memorial Baptist Church, a Hospice volunteer, volunteered for the Baptist Clothing Center, and worked with various church ministries.

She is survived by her husband, Orley Campbell whom she married on August 2, 1965; a daughter, Kristie Campbell-Turpin of Science Hill; two brothers, Tom "Snook" Sexton, Jr., and Rick Sexton both of Somerset; five sisters, Judy Tanner of Somerset, Carol Caldwell of Somerset, Brenda Wright Stephens of Science Hill, Vickie Cody of Somerset, and Vonda Dawes of Science Hill; two grandchildren, Zachary Turpin, and Olivia Turpin; several nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Christine Crouch Sexton.

A funeral service will be held at 7:30 PM Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Duke Memorial Baptist Church with Bro. Randy Smith officiating.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Science Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5 PM Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at the Duke Memorial Baptist Church.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take in the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
