Betty Allen

Betty Lou Allen, 88, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Berea Health & Rehab.
She was born in Pulaski Co., Kentucky on September 15, 1936; daughter of the late Charles Bryan & Amy (Mercer) Allen. She was a retired teacher, member of Bethel Baptist Church, and a member of the Homemakers Club. She enjoyed tending to her flowers and gardening.
She is survived by her nieces, Camille & (Johnny) Partin, Debbie Allen, and Diane Ashbaugh; two nephews, Dell & (Darlene) Allen and Duane Allen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lorene Marshall; and three brothers, Lloyd Allen, Leon Allen, and Paul Allen.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Etna Cemetery.
The family will receive friends after 12 PM Wednesday until time for services.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
