Bernice Mize

Bernice Mize, 83, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017 at her residence.She was born in Levelgreen, Kentucky on July 10, 1934, daughter of the late Rothel E. and Zora E. Burton Bradley. She was a bus driver for the Pulaski County School System for 20 years. She was a member of Polly Ann Ridge Baptist Church and attended Good Hope Baptist Church. She enjoyed serving the Lord, time with her family, cooking, farming, fishing and singing.She is survived by one son, Bruce A. & (Jackie) Mize of Eubank, one daughter, Sharon L. Chapman of Ashland, KY, two brothers, Junior W. Bradley and Jackie E. Bradley, both of Louisville, KY, seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth C. Mize, who died on November 27, 2011, her parents and one sister, Ruby Jean Perkins.A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Bullock officiating.Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.Visitation will be from 6 PM to 9 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.The family request donations be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
