Bernard Lee York

Bernard Lee York, 84, of Eubank, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at his son's residence.
He was born in Eubank on May 14, 1935; son of the late John T. & Dorothy (Calder) York. He was a retired truck driver from East Anderson Hardwoods and was of the Christian Faith.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby (Caudill) York, whom he married on August 21, 1956; a son, Larry & (Diana) York of Waynesburg; a daughter, Debbie & (Norman) Walls of Eubank; two brothers, Bee & Jimmy York, both of Eubank; a sister, Joyce Atwood of Somerset; two grandchildren, Jordan York and Chris & (Leann) Walls; and two great-grandchildren, Ty Walls & Ida York. He will be missed by many friends & family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Gary York; and a grandson, Jonas York.
A Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM Sunday, January 5, 2020 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Carson Atwood officiating.
Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6:00 PM Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
